Dr. Hudson grew up in Eugene, Oregon and graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor’s in BioHealth Sciences with a focus in Pre-Optometry. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from U.C. Berkeley. During her time there she gained extensive clinical experience in management of ocular pathology, contact lens, and refractive surgery with externships that took her through California, Arizona, Colorado and Oregon. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society, Berkeley Student Ambassador, and VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity) member where she traveled to Nicaragua for a medical mission trip as well as volunteered with Project Homeless Connect giving much needed medical care to the homeless population of San Francisco.

Dr. Hudson joined the Mile High Eye Institute in 2019. She is passionate about providing thoughtful, compassionate, and expert care to her patients. Whether she is seeing you for a postoperative visit after cataract surgery or fitting you in scleral contact lenses for your keratoconus, she strives to give you the same level of care she would give to her own friends and family.

Dr. Hudson loves taking advantage of everything Colorado has to offer! After work you can find her climbing at Clear Creek or Movement, driving out to the mountains for a ski weekend, playing guitar, or grabbing a local craft beer with friends. She’s always looking for the next adventure and her newest pursuits include scuba diving and white water kayaking.
